Room Rentals

All of the classrooms at FLS are available for rent. We will configure our computers to meet your specifications.

 

Technical Information Intel Core 2 Duo
  • 2.8 GHz Dual Core Dell GX745's with 4GB RAM and 256MB ATI Video Cards (Dual Monitor capable)
  • 17" Dell Flat Panel Displays
  • High Speed 100Mbps and 1 Gbps Network (Static IP or DHCP capable)
  • Isolated, private networks in each classroom
  • Center projection monitors to display instructors computer
  • Dell 2300 projector and screen if desired

 

Classroom Setups
  • Each student has a full 4-5 feet of desk space.
  • 8 to 16 computers per room.
  • Rooms can seat up to 24 without PC's.
  • Individual AC control in each room.
  • 3 expansive white boards at the front of each room.
  • Complimentary snacks in each room.
  • Complimentary Coffee, Cafe Mocha, Hot Tea and Hot Chocolate in break room.
  • Soft drinks and bottled water available.
  • Student telephones available.
  • Catered food service is available upon request.

 

Room Rental Rates

We can customize our rooms and computers to meet a wide variety of needs. Typical configuration includes all of the above with the computers configured with any Microsoft Windows operating system, ( Windows XP or Vista, Server 2003 or 2008, etc.) plus the latest Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). We can usually add additional custom applications as needed. If the computers require a more involved configuration, we will work with your staff to best accomodate you.

Veterans

FLS is approved for Veterans training.
If you are a United States Military Veteran or on active duty, you may use your earned Montgomery GI Bill education benefits for technical training at Focus Learning Systems.

Prometric Testing

As of September 1, 2007, all Microsoft exams are delivered by Thomson Prometric. Focus Learning Systems is a Thomson Prometric Authorized Testing Center. The price of all Microsoft exams is $125.

Pearson VUE Testing

Focus Learning Systems is a Pearson VUE Authorized Testing Center. If you would like to register for an exam you can either contact us at 850-656-6273 or toll free at 1-800-826-7817 or register through the Pearson VUE website.

Pre-Paid Training

We know that it is often difficult for administrators and training directors to accurately project the exact training needs of their organization, yet they are responsible for setting a budget and encumbering funds for educational needs.

We also know just as you do that times are tough and training money is in short supply. In order to address both areas, Focus Learning Systems has created a new program titled Pre-Paid Training. It allows organizations to encumber educational funds without having to decide just exactly how that money will be used, plus, it helps maximize those funds by granting a discount for each training day purchased.

You could purchase a block of training days and receive an additional 10% discount from our already discounted State Contract Price! You could use these days at any time over the next year for any Microsoft and most other courses. Please note that Bootcamp training days are not part of this program.

We will keep track of your training days for you so that all you have to do is let us know when you want to make a withdrawal from your Pre-Paid Training Days budget. We think this can greatly simplify the management of training budgets as well as reduce the overall costs.
