ITIL
IT Infrastructure Library is a collection of industry best practices for delivering customer centric IT services
at a justifiable cost.
ITIL is internationally recognized as the de facto standard for IT Service Management.
It has the full support of industry leaders such as Microsoft, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Computer
Associates and the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF).
In the 1980s, the British government instructed the CCTA (Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency now known
as the Office of Government Commerce, OGC) to develop an approach for the efficient and cost effective use of IT
resources. The aim was to develop a framework that was vendor independent and based on observations of best
practices within the IT service industry. That project resulted in the creation of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
document series.
Through our association with ITSM Academy, Focus Learning Systems provides
all levels of certified ITIL Training. All courses are EXIN Accredited and all instructors are industry experts with
vast amounts of experience. They prepare their students with practical skills as well as the knowledge to pass the
EXIN exams associated with each level.
