Hours of Operation
Normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Night classes are normally conducted Monday through Friday 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Special Bootcamps may also include Saturday and Sunday classes from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Special Note: Some special classes may extend beyond the 5:00 P.M. time frame. Also, some classes may be arranged to accommodate the special requirements of students or instructors.
Breaks and Lunch
Breaks are scheduled by individual instructors based on student needs and course demands. One hour is scheduled for lunch but this can be altered depending on student and instructor needs.
Attendance
All students are required to attend the prescribed number of hours for each class. Any student who misses class time due to illness or a family emergency should inform the instructor as early as possible. Provisions for make-up time will be determined by the instructor. Each student has the opportunity to audit at no charge the same version course they have previously taken for a period of one year, as long as that course and version are still available at FLS. This offer is contingent on a seat being available in the class. Any student who wishes to audit a course must contact FLS at least one week in advance of the course. Students who audit a course must bring their original course materials.
Disruptive Behavior
Students attending FLS are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner. FLS reserves the right to ask any disruptive person to leave the training facility. If the student is sponsored by an agency or a financial institution, a letter will be sent outlining the reason the student was asked to leave the class.
Scheduling and Refunds
Focus Learning Systems will do its best not to cancel a course but we must reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course if our minimum enrollment is not met. If any course is cancelled or rescheduled, all students will be notified as promptly as possible.
Enrollment Cancellation
Any company or individual who wishes to cancel enrollment in a course will receive a full refund as long as they notify FLS at least 10 business days prior to the course start date. If cancellation occurs less than ten days prior to the start date of the course, a 50% cancellation fee may be charged to the company or individual.
No-shows
If a student simply does not show up for a class for which they are registered and they have not notified FLS, they may be charged for the full price of the course.
Satisfaction Guarantee
At FLS our goal is to always give students more information and knowledge than they came for. We will always treat students with respect for them as individuals and support for their goals. If any student ever feels that we have not lived up to their expectations, then we will work diligently with the student to resolve the situation to their satisfaction.
